Have you wanted to break the emotional and verbal abusive cycle you experienced growing up? Are you wanting to change your emotional and mental abusive ways? Are you wanting to learn how to control and manage your anger?

  • Anger itself is not a negative feeling, it is the way its expressed and used that creates the problems within ourselves and towards others.

Are you experiencing grief from loosing someone dear to you or loosing something important in your life (job, health, relationship, identity, moving to a new country, status change) and need a place to process these feelings?

  • Grief is a journey that affects each person differently and each person has their own ways of grieving. Together we can navigate your grieving journey and honer your loss(es) and implement coping tools to navigate your pain while you find yourself again.
  • The space created for you is yours alone and thus showing your raw emotions through this journey will not be judged nor pacified.

Are you sick and tired of facing challenges such as discrimination, incivility, bullying, or harassment in the workplace, at home, school, or in the community? Do you wonder how to tackle this and also take care of yourself and advocate for yourself? Have you noticed how this is affecting your emotional, mental, and physical well being?

  • Feeling like an outcast or targeted can affect our well being tremendously yet it is not easy at times to openly speak on what we are experiencing.
  • Our focus in our sessions will be to explore how all these encounters have affected you, process your feelings, and at the same time provide you with coping tools and skills to protect you from it reoccurring.

Is your child having behavioural issues at school and at home? Do you wonder how you can assist them further for you to understand what they are struggling with and at the same time support their mental health? Is your teenager or young adult struggling with with their emotions and yet they won't open up to you when you try to assist them? Are all these challenges also affecting your relationship and you would like it to improve?

  • Children and young people go through so many seen and unseen challenges which can be affected by their environment or other conditions.
  • Counseling can help your child understand their feelings, how to express their emotions, and how to react to triggering circumstances at home, school, and in social environments. Counseling also helps to build the necessary coping tools and life skills sets to navigate their different challenges.
  • Your child or young person can be followed up at school and  at home to help them, their teacher and or care giver understand the different causes of their behavioral and emotional challenges. Consequently establishing a treatment plan to support their continued development in all areas.

“Just like there's always time for pain, there's always time for healing”.

Welcoming New Clients!

I am currently providing virtual counseling and in person therapy services .

Psychoeducational groups & Support groups

There is power and much healing doing therapy and processing feelings as a group. There is support from those who have experienced the same or similar issues you have been through. Groups become also a great support network.

Here is an explanation of both types:

A support group is a gathering of people facing common issues to share what's troubling them. Through the sharing of experiences, they're able to offer support, encouragement, and comfort to the other group members, and receive the same in return

Psychoeducational groups often focus on mental health conditions and help clients learn about potential triggers, how to develop healthy coping mechanisms, and how to avoid pitfalls in the future.
